11 January 2013,
Sometimes I was bored with no outdoor activities during the rainy season, so I try to get around to a traditional market in Mojolaban, Sukoharjo district this morning. This market is located not far from my house. Just 30 minutes by bicycle from home.
What can be seen in a traditional market?
Lots of human activity can be seen in the market. They sell meats, vegetables, fruits, snacks, kitchen utensils, clothes, spare parts of bycycle, etc.
They anxiously awaited the arrival of the buyer, they laughed when talking about gossip, they smiled when the transactions is successful.
I wanted to share a picture with you about the crowd in Bekonang market this morning.
When the Javanese calendar marked Kliwon, Bekonang market turned into a market that sells more kinds of goods.
Many people sell their old bikes and farm animals such as cows, chickens, goats, and pets such as birds in Kliwon.
So do not be afraid to go to the traditional market… Let’s ride your bike and GO!
The first time i read the tittle i know that place.
Bekonang Market is an awesome place with warm and helpful people :-D
Way to go man! Next story may be you can try to use Javanese language also…Hahahahaa!
